Communicating

It is important to mention that students with disabilities usually have a support system that requires frequent maintenance. I plan to maintain accurate and comprehensive student files of which I can monitor gains and effectively communicate with parents and guardians. I believe communication reinforces the relationship between parent, student and teacher and further encourages learning. The present age provides multiple resources of which I can use to communicate with the parent in a timely and frequent manner. The importance of teacher parent relationships is the merely the foundation needed when dealing with special needs children.
